New release?
Reported by j1m | January 10th, 2011 @ 09:58 AM
I'd like to use the recent enhancement to pass a file to execute.
python-spidermonkey is much appreciated. I'm using it to
create javascript doctests that work with the standard doctest
module (and the zope testrunner).
One of the cool aspects of this is that when I get a traceback,
it
includes both Python and Javascript calls, thanks to the recent
changes. (Rhino gives useless java tracebacks.)
BTW, is there a mailing list where python-spidermonkey is discussed?

Until there's an official release, I made a release here:

Python/JavaScript bridge module, making use of Mozilla's spidermonkey JavaScript implementation. Allows implementation of JavaScript classes, objects and functions in Python, and evaluation and calling of JavaScript scripts and functions respectively. Borrows heavily from Claes Jacobssen's Javascript Perl module, in turn based on Mozilla's 'PerlConnect' Perl binding.
